Sugarlands Shine Jim Tom’s Unaged Rye Moonshine

Sugarlands Shine is artfully distilled moonshine produced by the Sugarlands Distilling Co. of Gatlinburg TN. The brand was founded in 2014 by co-owners Kent Woods and Ned Vickers along with Master Distiller Greg Eidam II. Sugarlands Shine offers uniquely flavorful recipes of moonshine whiskey, wholly un-aged and expertly crafted. Technically speaking, moonshine is defined as ‘illegally’ produced un-aged whiskey, however, Sugarlands is as close to real moonshine as you can get. The brand uses locally sourced grains milled on-site and then fermented and distilled 6 times in a traditional, Appalachian-style 250-gallon pot still. In addition to its acclaimed moonshine recipes, the brand has since expanded into its own line of straight whiskey, canned cocktails, and vodka. Sugarlands Shine continues to offer distinctively crafted liquor with flair, flavor, and down-home country tradition, winning the brand 6 medals in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition – including gold for their Jim Tom Unaged Rye Moonshine.
