W. L. Weller 12 Year Old Bourbon (Older Style Squat Bottling)

One of Kentucky’s oldest whiskey producers, Weller Bourbon was created by WL Weller and Stitzel-Weller Distilling Company alongside other famous brands like Old Rip Van Winkle.
Today, like its counterpart Pappy, Weller Bourbon is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery and remains true to the heritage and history behind the brand, producing immaculate ‘wheated’ bourbons – whereby the secondary grain in the mash bill is wheat rather than rye.

Nose: Sweet and unusual floral notes and coupled with vanilla.

Palate: The taste is very well balanced with sweet fruit notes.

Finish: Strong vanilla undertone and sharp spicy tones, with a cinnamon finish.
